I'm fairly sure that half of the pictures in the gallery are preambled by "OMG! Spinel's actually posted something!", so I'll not bore you by reiterating.

SO. This picture was created specifically to be sold as prints at Anime Boston... 2005. It's rather old by now. But I have to say, I'm still fond of it. The pic's actually kinda okay (The automail looks like automail! Astounding.), and while the coloring wasn't stellar, the filters I dropped on it a the last minute made it look pretty spiffy. (The tattoo's crap though. Augh.)

The drawing's actually based on the first FMA fanart I ever did, back around the summer of '03 when I stumbled upon the manga and thought it was neat. I scribbled up a little ditty of Ed with one angel wing and one automail wing. I'm sure the idea's been done to death by now, but darn if it didn't stick in my head. And its rare enough that I actually WANT to do fanart of big-name anime characters anyway.

Anyhoo, I actually managed to sell a number of prints of this at '05 and '06 (surprising, seeing as I was sharing the table with ~darksilicon and ~lucky444 the first year, and *zombiehunter the next) so I figured I'd post it up eventually. And eventually turns out to be today!

(My big huge regret is that I didn't make the visual design and coloring of the little wing match up to his automail better. Man, that would have looked cool.)
